Looking for a workout to strengthen your core and improve your flexibility? Want to meet more of your neighbours? Parkallen's Pilates class may be for you! Pilates is a physical fitness system that was developed in the early 20th century by Joseph Pilates. The Pilates method involves completing a series of controlled movements while focusing on breathing and alignment. When practiced regularly Pilates improves flexibility, builds strength and develops control and endurance.

This year’s membership drive is starting soon.

From September 1 - October 31 we'll be going door-to-door offering everyone a chance to join the Parkallen Community League.

Can you help?

We need up to 20 volunteer canvassers. Each will have an area of 50 or fewer addresses. It’s a fantastic way to meet your neighbours, get in a healthy fall walk and check out the gorgeous gardens in Parkallen.

Civics Committee - Members Wanted!

p.p1 {margin: 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px; font: 11.0px Helvetica} Are you interested in learning more about how development occurs in your neighbourhood, how bylaws and policies are created or changed, how our municipal government works, and want to give Parkallen a voice on civic issues? The Civics Committee’s responsibility is to monitor development within and around Parkallen and to represent our community at public engagement opportunities on various projects that impact our community. This includes infill development, infrastructure renewal, changes to transportation routes, parking, transit and the continuing development of UofA’s South campus. These efforts will be organized by our newly elected Civics Director Robert Zylstra. Robert moved to Parkallen from Saskatoon three years ago and works with the Saskatchewan Library Webservices.
