Looking for a workout to strengthen your core and improve your flexibility? Want to meet more of your neighbours? Parkallen's Pilates class may be for you! Pilates is a physical fitness system that was developed in the early 20th century by Joseph Pilates. The Pilates method involves completing a series of controlled movements while focusing on breathing and alignment. When practiced regularly Pilates improves flexibility, builds strength and develops control and endurance.
