Who We Are

We are Parkallen

The Parkallen Community League works to improve our neighbourhood and the quality of life we all enjoy. Your Community League acts on behalf of its members; all residents within the boundaries of the community are encouraged to join. Membership in the league does not require attendance at meetings or include any volunteer work, and it comes with benefits. Since all activities are undertaken by volunteers, we are always looking for people to help out. Our primary focus is on creating and delivering exciting, high-quality recreational, social, cultural, educational, and sports programs. Each league is entrusted by the City of Edmonton, through Edmonton Community Services, to look after neighbourhood park development. This includes planting trees and the development of play spaces such as playgrounds, skating rinks, and ball courts. Your executive works hard to create and maintain a well-organized, accountable, transparent Community League. We are responsible for planning, installing, maintaining, and operating all facilities and amenities in the area defined by our Community Association License Boundaries. Our bylaws are posted here for your information. The Edmonton Federation of Community Leagues (EFCL) is the representative and coordinating body for all community leagues in Edmonton.
